The Chandler workshop is staffed by highly skilled and knowledgeable staff who are able to take on almost any guitar adjustment modification or repair. From the simplest set up to building a custom instrument from the ground up.

A brief overview of services:

1) Setting Up - This means adjusting the guitar for optimum playability. This may only entail minor adjustments to nut and bridge - or completely re-fretting and re-profiling neck camber.

2) Plek set up - Optimum relief is possible using the Plek re-profiling machine which can adjust fret height to an accuracy of less than 1/100 mm for enhanced playability. We actually have a superior service which initially uses the Plek system but then we finish off by hand.

3) Installation of superior parts. This could be upgrading pickups & electrics or replacing worn or badly designed parts - such as machine heads, bridges or electrics.

4) Potting pickups - To reduce feedback and squeal - or screening cavities to reduce electrical noise.

We also make chandler custom guitars - usually Strat or Tele style - with top quality USA sourced parts - set up to play like a dream.

We repair and modify amplifiers and can give them a general service.
